Predictable Costs
We will endeavour to give you the most realistic quote we can at the outset of your matter and we won’t charge you for anything you have not agreed in advance. Sometimes, there are unexpected turns that can impact on costs and timescales and if anything does happen, we will revise the costs and timescales, and then agree them with you before undertaking further work. With Ward & Rider, you will always be kept up to date with your costs, with no compromise in the quality of service you receive.
Regular Communication
When you instruct Ward & Rider, we will ask you from the outset how you want us to communicate with you i.e. would you prefer e-mail, phone or letter? We will also discuss with you the frequency of communication. Our aim is to tailor our service to work best for you and to ensure that you are kept fully informed at all times.

A storied history
Ward & Rider Solicitors was founded in 1948 by two ex-servicemen, Mr Norman Ward LLB and Mr William Henry Rider LLB.
A newspaper article of the time stated that both men were from Coventry and were “born o’er the bridge”, which is an old Coventry saying for people who were born in the Foleshill area of the City.
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Company in 2008, The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of the City presented a “memorial plaque” in recognition of the firm’s 60 years of service to the people of Coventry and the Midlands.
