It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… but here at Ward and Rider Solicitors we understand that not every family enjoys the approach to Christmas or the day itself.
Our family department, based in Coventry and Leamington Spa have been helping families for years deal with the stresses and strains of Christmas, in particular child arrangements.
We always advise that you plan the arrangements for seeing your children well in advance of the day as it can take many weeks to finalise. It is best to keep it simple- for example, you may wish to alternate the arrangements each year so that each parent gets to spend the morning of Christmas Day with the children every other year.
If possible these arrangements could be recorded in a parenting plan and again this is something that we can help you with. This will therefore prevent any confusion in later years.
After Christmas you may feel that you did not have enough time with your children. If you want the whole of the child arrangements negotiating then we can help you with this also.
