Lisa joined Ward & Rider in September 2014. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 after completing her law degree at Birmingham City University and training contract with a Nuneaton firm.
Lisa has gained valuable knowledge and experience over the years and specialises in Wills & Probate and Family Law.
She acts for a wide range of clients and advises on many aspects of Wills & Probate including the administration of estates, Wills, Inheritance tax, care home fees protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney and advising clients and families in applications to the Court of Protection.
Lisa’s other specialism is family law. She is experienced in all areas of family law and has undertaken court work in a variety of courts. She has extensive experience of dealing with applications under Section 8 of the Children Act for married couples, unmarried couples and same sex couples. In addition, Lisa is experienced in divorce matters and applications for financial orders on the break up of a relationship including pension sharing.
Lisa also advises victims of domestic violence in obtaining urgent protection orders for both themselves and children, where appropriate.
Outside of work Lisa is a keen cyclist and enjoys spending time with family.
